About ANEMOS...midaregami

Midaregami is the new music project of ANEMOS 

( Kostas Hatzopoulos-music & Katerina Nitsopoulou-voice )
in collaboration with the Japanese mezzo-soprano Kaoru Shimizu.
 

Midaregmi in Japanese means Tangled Hair and is the famous Tanka poem of Yosano Akiko.
 

Haiku and Tanka poetry is an expression of the deep intuitive contact with nature.
 

Its minimal structure involves the interelatioship of words expressing the same idea or image.
 

This project presentation is a collection of  four Haiku and Tanka poems by Matsuo Basho and Yosano Akiko.
